As we continue to grow through ongoing client success, we’re looking for a talented Technical SEO Manager to join our team. For over 21 years, we’ve helped clients increase leads and revenue through high-impact SEO strategies. THE ROLE

Working alongside our SEO Operations Director and the SEO team, you’ll lead technical audits and manage SEO strategies for a wide-range of clients. You’ll drive performance through smart, data-backed insights – optimising everything from site structure to AI-ready content and user experience.

You will control ongoing and new SEO strategies for our varied mix of SEO clients with valuable thinking time to fully immerse yourself in our clients’ sites and user journeys.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Applicants must have an excellent understanding of the search landscape across different devices and search verticals, as well as universal search, traditional effective on-page optimisation, conversion rate optimisation, and e-commerce techniques.

Key responsibilities include:

Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits and deliver actionable insights.
Plan, implement and manage ethical SEO and AEO strategies across client portfolios.
Provide medium to long term SEO roadmaps and campaign planning.
Provide detailed monthly SEO campaign task planning and management
Monitor and analyse site performance, ensuring the clients’ web traffic is delivered.
Create SEO and CRO campaigns that drive enquiries/sales of high quality and exceed performance targets.
Work with team members to develop and improve team performance.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Experience required:

At least 3+ years of experience in a client-facing SEO role.

Technical Knowledge:

Expert-level experience with common CMS including WordPress, Shopify, etc.
Advanced working knowledge of Screaming Frog and all other relevant SEO analysis software tools.
An excellent understanding of technical SEO and fixing site issues according to best practices.
Analytical skills to derive insights from organic traffic, rankings, and conversion data from Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
Expert knowledge of what makes for a good website user experience and conversion rate optimisation.
Proficiency with Google Tag Manager in implementing tracking and analytics.
Excellent understanding of keyword research, site content and strategic SEO planning.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS. JavaScript and other programming languages.
High customer service orientation with a stellar record of account management and client satisfaction.
Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills. Can compellingly present analysis findings and convince others to adopt best-practice advice and suggestions.
Excellent active listening skills, understanding client goals, objectives, and constraints before making recommendations, and empathy for client perspectives and needs.
Exceptional attention to detail with organisational skills to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
Takes full ownership with a results-oriented mindset and drive to exceed campaign goals.
The ability to manage your time following the client, company and project timescales.
Commitment to continually expanding SEO knowledge base through the latest industry news, events, blogs and forums.

This is a hybrid role. Driving licence and access to a car are essential due to the remote location of the office

Induction requires being in the office at least 3 days per week for the first 6 months.

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
