💰 Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 DOA

🧠 About the Role

We’re looking for an SEO Executive to join the Organic Media team at one of the UK’s leading digital agencies. You’ll support the delivery of innovative, data-driven SEO strategies across a diverse portfolio of clients.

You may have agency and/or client side experience or even be a graduate with the right attitude and passion for SEO and a chance to kickstart your career.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious, curious and passionate about the future of search, with exposure to a wide range of industries including ecommerce, fashion, financial services and technology.

You’ll play a key role in driving client growth across the core pillars of SEO — technical, on-site, off-site and content — while also developing an understanding of how search is evolving across AI-powered environments and multi-platform discovery.

Working closely with SEO strategists, technical specialists and content teams, you’ll help deliver cohesive strategies that perform not only in traditional search engines, but also across AI search surfaces, social platforms and emerging discovery channels.

📈 Key Responsibilities

🔍 Keyword Research & Insights

Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities, including long-tail, conversational and question-based queries
Align research with how users search across both traditional and AI-driven environments

📝 Content & Briefing

Create detailed SEO briefs for content teams, ensuring outputs are optimised for Google, AI Overviews and other discovery platforms

📊 SEO Strategy Support

Support the development and execution of SEO strategies under senior guidance
Apply both foundational SEO best practices and emerging AI/search discovery principles

🤖 AI & Search Evolution (GEO)

Develop an understanding of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and how content can surface in AI-generated answers
Contribute to evolving strategies across AI-powered search environments

🌐 Multi-Platform Discovery

Explore how audiences discover content across platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Reddit and Pinterest
Contribute insights into cross-channel and discovery-led strategies

⚙️ Technical SEO Support

Assist with technical SEO audits and collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues
Support implementation during technical sprints

📈 Performance & Reporting

Analyse SEO performance and contribute to reporting and insight generation
Share findings and recommendations with senior team members

🤝 Collaboration

Work closely with SEO analysts, PR teams and content specialists to deliver integrated strategies
Take ownership of smaller tasks or accounts with support from senior team members

⏱ Organisation & Delivery

Manage your workload, deadlines and diary effectively
Ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard

📚 Learning & Development

Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm updates and AI developments
Proactively build your skillset with support from senior team members

Support wider business initiatives where required, including compliance and training
Take on additional duties as needed to support the team and business

🎓 Knowledge, Technology & Experience

✔ Foundational understanding of SEO principles across technical, content and on-site optimisation

✔ Awareness of how search is evolving, including AI-driven search and multi-platform discovery

✔ Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush or Screaming Frog

✔ Experience working with data (e.g. Excel, Google Data Studio)

✔ Understanding of different audiences, markets and digital behaviours
