Smart Move Removals & Storage is a fast-growing premium removals company operating across the North West's most affluent postcodes — WA, SK, CH, PR and beyond. We move high-value homes and we need someone who can make sure we're the first company those homeowners find on Google.

We're hiring a Local SEO & Paid Search Manager to own our Google presence end-to-end — map pack, Local Services Ads, organic rankings, and Google Ads. Your success is measured in qualified calls and booked jobs. Nothing else.

What You'll Own

Google Business Profile — ranking, reviews, posts, photos, Q&A, and service area strategy
Local Services Ads — setup, category management, lead disputes, and cost-per-lead reduction
Google Ads — search campaigns, ad copy, negative keywords, and conversion tracking (£1,500/month budget)
Town and postcode-specific landing pages — built to rank, built to convert
On-page SEO and internal linking across the full site
Weekly reporting on what actually matters: calls, booked jobs, and postcode source

Who We're Looking For

5+ years ranking local service businesses on Google
Real GBP results you can point to — not just familiarity with the platform
Hands-on LSA experience — setup, management, and dispute handling
Someone who thinks in leads and revenue, not traffic and impressions
Self-starter who can work independently and communicate performance clearly

Preferred Background

10+ years of experience in SEO and paid search
Experience working with SME clients in service-based industries
Freelance experience managing SEO clients independently
Experience building location-specific landing pages for multiple service areas
Knowledge of local citation building and NAP consistency
Experience with call tracking software (e.g. CallRail, ResponseTap)
Google Ads or Analytics certification
