The Opportunity
This is a role for an ambitious, entrepreneurial SEO who wants to use our platform to build their own department. It’s a genuinely hands-on “player‑coach” position: you’ll be doing the work yourself to start, while shaping the SEO service, processes, commercial strategy, and eventually the team as we grow.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end SEO delivery for key clients: audit, strategy, implementation, QA, and reporting.
- Run technical SEO audits and manage Shopify migrations, ensuring minimal risk and maximum upside.
- Implement SEO changes directly in Shopify themes (Liquid templates, navigation, collections, metafields, site speed) and complex Shopify Plus setups (Markets, internationalisation, subscriptions, bundles, headless/hybrid).
- Use AI across your workflow (research, analysis, content outlines, QA, reporting) to work faster and better.
- Join sales conversations with new and existing clients, help scope and pitch SEO, then stay on the account to deliver what you’ve sold.
- Translate SEO opportunities into clear roadmaps, tickets, and shipped changes in collaboration with dev and CRO.
- Build the processes, standards, and playbooks we use to deliver SEO work consistently across clients.
- Contribute to thought leadership (case studies, talks, content) that builds Superco’s reputation in Shopify SEO.
What We’re Looking For
- You’ve managed multiple eCommerce clients at once and are comfortable juggling priorities.
- You understand the technical side of Shopify (Liquid, Markets, site architecture, site speed optimisation).
- Experience driving organic growth for brands on Shopify. You will need to demonstrate cause and effect in your interview - what things did you do to a store to drive commercial upside for brands?
- You’re happy rolling up your sleeves, jumping into themes, tools, and data rather than just directing others.
- You can audit a site, prioritise what matters, and explain the financial value of SEO to a founder or CMO in plain language.
- You can show us exactly how you use AI to automate or improve your research, implementation, and reporting.
- You’ll be the owner of SEO at Superco - responsible for the roadmap, standards, case studies, and eventually hiring and mentoring additional SEO specialists as the service scales.
