About Us
Purplex Marketing is one of North Somerset’s fastest growing businesses, with head offices in Worle. We are a fast-paced, dynamic marketing and media group employing 90 staff, providing innovative marketing solutions for clients that include ambitious SMEs and blue-chip corporations across the UK and Europe.
We work with clients across a range of sectors, with particular strength in home improvement, construction, building products and B2B lead generation. As our new Senior SEO Executive, you’ll play a key role in supporting and delivering SEO strategies for our clients, helping to improve organic visibility, technical performance, content effectiveness and measurable search results.
Working closely with our Digital Director, Head of AI, account managers and wider delivery teams, you’ll help ensure SEO work is delivered to a high standard across client accounts, with a focus on performance, best practice, collaboration and continuous improvement.
About You
The Senior SEO Executive will be responsible for supporting the delivery of SEO strategies across a range of client accounts, working closely with the wider digital, content, web and account management teams to ensure our clients benefit from joined-up, effective and sustainable SEO activity.
You’ll be confident reviewing websites, identifying SEO opportunities, carrying out keyword research, analysing performance data and recommending practical actions that improve organic growth. You’ll also be able to work closely with account managers to understand client priorities, support client communication and provide clear SEO insight.
You’ll support the SEO team with day-to-day delivery, quality control and best-practice guidance, while working with the content team on keyword targeting, search intent and content optimisation. You’ll also collaborate with the web team on technical SEO recommendations, launch checks and best practice for new websites.
Search is changing quickly, with AI-driven results, algorithm updates, Generative Engine Optimisation and changing user behaviour reshaping how businesses achieve visibility online. We’re looking for someone who understands these changes and is keen to help Purplex and our clients stay ahead without losing sight of strong technical foundations, useful content, ethical SEO and measurable performance.
Success in this role will mean helping clients improve organic visibility, ensuring SEO recommendations are clear and commercially focused, supporting account managers with confident insight, and helping the wider team deliver consistent, high-quality work.
This is a great opportunity for someone ready to move beyond task delivery and take more ownership of SEO recommendations, client performance and best-practice standards. You’ll be proactive, analytical, organised and comfortable working in a busy agency environment.
