fatBuzz is a Glasgow-based agency providing marketing, PPC, SEO, graphic design and web design services for clients across the UK. We work with clients of all sizes from most industry sectors; from independent local businesses to global household names.
We are now looking for an SEO Assistant to join our team and work alongside our PPC/SEO Manager. An SEO Assistant is required to support the delivery of SEO strategies across a range of client accounts within a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
The role involves assisting with day-to-day SEO activities, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, blog content improvements, and technical SEO audits. The successful candidate will also support performance reporting, competitor analysis, and ongoing optimisation across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the SEO Specialist with daily SEO tasks across client accounts
- Report daily progress and updates to the SEO and PPC Manager
- Conduct keyword research and identify content opportunities
- Assist with blog optimisation and on-page SEO improvements
- Support technical SEO audits and implementation of fixes
- Monitor performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Track keyword rankings and assist with reporting
- Work with marketing teams to implement SEO best practices
Requirements
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles
- Understanding of GA4 and Google Search Console
- Familiarity with tools such as SEMrush and Ahrefs
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with WordPress desirable
