As we continue to scale, we're looking for a talented Search Specialist to join our growing team.

The Role

This is primarily a client-facing SEO-focused role with a PPC element. You'll be the go-to expert for organic search strategy across our client base, owning everything from technical audits and on-page optimisation to content strategy. You'll also support and manage paid search campaigns, ensuring our clients get maximum visibility across both channels.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who lives and breathes SEO, stays ahead of algorithm changes, and can translate data into clear, actionable strategies.

What You'll Be Doing

Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies across a portfolio of client accounts, including conducting monthly client meetings
Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits and work with developers to implement fixes
Perform keyword research, gap analysis, and content planning to drive organic growth
On-page optimisation and working with the web development team to optimise new sites before they go live.
Lead on-page and off-page optimisation, including metadata, internal linking, and structured data
Monitor, report on, and analyse organic performance using tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush, and GA4
Keep up to date with Google algorithm updates and industry best practices, advising clients proactively
Collaborate with our content team to produce SEO-driven content briefs and strategies
Plan, manage, and optimise Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns
Conduct audience targeting and paid keyword research to complement the organic strategy
Write compelling ad copy and on-page content for seo campaigns.
Monitor budgets, bids, and performance metrics to maximise ROI
Produce clear, insightful reports across both organic and paid search channels for clients

What We're Looking For

2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally within a digital agency environment
Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page best practices, and link building
Proficiency with tools such as Semrush, GA4, and Google Search Console
Experience managing Google Ads campaigns (Google Ads certification is a plus)
An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into clear recommendations
Experience with WordPress
Excellent communication skills - comfortable presenting strategies and results to clients
Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
A genuine passion for search marketing and staying ahead of industry trends

Location: Remote with ability to travel to Colchester once a month

Position: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
