This role combinesexpertisein storytelling, digital marketing, and the strategic use of AI-assisted tools to produce high-impact, high-qualitycontent that drives traffic, engagement, and conversions for ourCommercial business initiatives.
As a key member of theSEOteam, you willleverageadvanced AI tools, to augment your copywriting talents, enabling the creation of scalable, personalized, and data-driven content. This role emphasizes the integration of AI to enhance ideation, streamline workflows, andoptimizecontent performance, ensuring alignment with GEICO’s brand voice, marketingobjectives, and evolving industry standards.
In addition to driving traditional SEO strategies, this role will focus on advancingGEO (Generative Engine Optimization) andAEO (Answer Engine Optimization) initiatives, ensuring content is structured to meet modern search intent and deliver value across emerging search platforms. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about blending creativity with technology and have a proventrack recordin SEO and AI Search-driven content creation.
Content DevelopmentandOptimization:Create and deliver high-quality, strategic copy for theCommercial insurance business, including landing pages, blog posts,long-form SEO articlesand more,tailored to the target audience.
SEO andGEO/AEO Strategy:Develop content that adheres to traditional SEO principles (e.g., keyword optimization, on-page SEO) andincorporateemergingGEO/AEO strategies to meet search intent and perform effectively on voice search and answer engines.
Performance Analysis:Track, analyze, and report on the performance ofCommercial insurance-focused SEOcontentefforts. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies, improve results, and adapt messaging based on customer behavior and search trends.
Content Optimization:Review and refine AI-generated content for tone, consistency, and effectiveness, ensuring all outputs meet brand,high-quality, and SEOandGEO/AEOstandards.
Trend Monitoring:Stay informed about Google algorithm updates, AI advancements, and trends in the commercial insurance SEO ecosystem. Assess risks and opportunities specific to the sector and apply best practices tomaintaina competitivecontentedge.
Process Improvement:Identifyand implement opportunities to enhance content creation workflows, including refining AI prompts, developing reusable frameworks, andestablishingstructured processes for efficiency and scalability.
Collaboration:Partner withMarketing,Product, and cross-functional teams to support content creation, content planning, and execution timelines, ensuring alignment with overall businessobjectivesand legal compliance.
Data-Driven Experimentation:Foster a data-informed culture by testingnewcontentideas within theCommercial insurance space, gathering insights, and implementing scalable solutions to drive business growth.
Workflow Coordination:Facilitatethe creation and publication of online articles and digital content by collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing workflows, uploading content to the internal CMS when needed, and ensuringtimelydelivery in alignment with brand and SEO standards.
SEO Expertise:Proven experience in creating SEO-driven content, including keyword optimization, on-page SEO, and a solid understanding of search intent, topical depth, and structured formatting.
AEO Expertise: Strong understanding of emergingGEO andAEOstrategies, with experience in optimizing content forLLMs, structuring information to align with answer engine algorithms, and meeting modern search intent.
Collaboration:Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating with designers, marketers, and SEO specialists to achieve campaignobjectives.
Technical Knowledge:Understanding ofGoogle algorithm updates, SEO trends, and theCommercialInsurance SEO ecosystem, with the ability to assess risks and opportunities.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional proofreading and editing skills, ensuring all content meets brand,high-quality, and SEO standards.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Annual Salary
$73,800.00 - $115,825.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
