As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic SEO Content Executive to be based at our Office in London.
About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and data-driven SEO Content Executive to help drive organic growth across all CDS Superstores brands. Working closely with the Group SEO Manager and wider Digital team, you will create and optimise content that improves search visibility, attracts new customers, and supports commercial objectives.
This role combines content creation, keyword research, performance analysis, and SEO best practice. You will also play a key role in website migrations and support emerging search trends, ensuring our content performs effectively across both traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities to drive organic growth.
- Optimise category, product, landing page, and editorial content.
- Create SEO-focused content briefs for internal teams and external partners.
- Support the development and delivery of content strategies based on customer search behaviour.
- Identify content gaps and opportunities through competitor and performance analysis.
- Improve on-page SEO elements including titles, meta descriptions, headings, and content structure.
- Support internal linking strategies to improve user experience and search performance.
- Collaborate with Trading and Category teams to optimise priority commercial areas.
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and content performance, making recommendations for improvement.
- Support the creation of evergreen content, buying guides, and inspirational articles.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and SEO best practice.
- Support content audits, optimisation, and migration during website replatforms and redesigns.
- Contribute to GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) strategies to improve visibility in AI-driven search environments.
Person Specification:
Essential
- Experience within SEO, digital content, ecommerce, or a similar digital marketing role.
- Strong understanding of keyword research and on-page SEO principles.
- Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret search, traffic, and performance data to identify opportunities.
- Experience using SEO and analytics platforms.
- Understanding of customer search behaviour and content optimisation best practices.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and across different brands.
- Experience supporting SEO or content activity during a website migration, replatform, or major site redesign.
- Practical understanding of GEO and AEO and how content should be structured for AI-led search experiences.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to balance creativity and commercial objectives.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to identify new opportunities for growth.
