Customer Success Manager
Almondsbury, Bristol (hybrid: 2 days a week in the office, the rest from home)
From £32,000 a year + monthly bonuses | Full-time, 37 hours, Monday to Friday
How to apply
To be considered, please send us all three of these:
- Your CV
- A cover letter
- A short video (1–2 minutes) telling us why you'd be good at this job
The video doesn't need to be polished. Just record it on your phone, upload it to YouTube (as unlisted), Loom or Google Drive, and put the link in your cover letter. We ask for it because a big part of this role is talking to tradespeople on calls and video calls, and we want to get a feel for how you come across. Applications without all three won't be considered.
Closing date: Friday 23 October 2026.
Provisional Interview date: Tuesday 10 November 2026
Who we are
Time To Scale builds websites and marketing systems for tradespeople: plumbers, electricians, heating engineers and other local businesses across the UK. We've worked with over 300 of them so far, helping them show up on Google, turn more enquiries into booked jobs and stop losing leads.
Our clients are busy people who don't have time for jargon, so we keep things simple and do what we say we'll do.
The role
Once a client signs up, you're the person they deal with. You'll get them onboarded, get their website live and sort out their Google Business Profile. Then you'll keep in touch so they're happy and seeing results. You'll also be the one who notices when a client has gone quiet, or when they'd benefit from something extra.
What you'll be doing
- Onboarding new clients and being their main contact from then on
- Working with our build team to get websites launched, including setting up DNS records and business email
- Setting up Google Business Profiles and fixing ones that are suspended or unverified
- Chasing clients for the content, photos and reviews we need to hit launch dates
- Proofreading websites before they go live
- Keeping an eye on accounts and flagging anyone who might be thinking of leaving
- Suggesting upgrades like Advanced SEO or PPC where they'd actually help the client
- Talking to clients by phone, video call, email and text
- Keeping our CRM up to date
What we're looking for
- Experience in customer success, account management or another client-facing role
- Someone who takes ownership when things go wrong and sees them through
- A good grasp of local SEO, and what helps a local business show up on Google
- Know-how with Google Business Profiles, including getting suspended or unverified listings back up
- The ability to juggle lots of clients at once without things slipping
- Comfort working on your own on your home days
- UK-based, within commuting distance of Almondsbury, with the right to work in the UK
Nice to have
- Experience launching websites, including setting up DNS records (A records, MX records, CNAMEs, nameservers) and business email
- Experience working with trades or local service businesses
- Experience with GoHighLevel or similar CRM and inbox tools
You don't need to be a web designer or developer, because our back-office team builds the sites. If you haven't set up DNS or business email before, we'll show you how during training. Your job is the client relationship, the technical setup, and making sure clients get value from what they're paying for.
What you get
- Starting salary of £32,000, with room to grow as you develop in the role
- Monthly bonuses
- 6 weeks of full-time, in-office training when you start
- After training, hybrid working: 2 days a week in our Almondsbury office, 3 from home
- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
- Workplace pension
- Casual dress
- 3-month probation period
Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- Company pension
