About the role

We’re looking for a Junior SEO Executive to join our growing digital marketing team in Milton Keynes. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s interested in SEO and wants to build their skills while working on real client projects in a supportive, hands-on environment.

You’ll be involved in carrying out SEO tasks for a range of clients, helping improve website visibility, rankings, and organic performance. This role would suit someone who’s organised, motivated, and enjoys working as part of a team.

What you’ll be doing

Carrying out SEO tasks for client websites to improve rankings and organic traffic
Assisting with keyword research and optimising website content, metadata, and images
Managing and updating website content using WordPress and other CMS platforms
Monitoring website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Supporting competitor research and identifying opportunities for improvement
Working closely with the wider team to ensure SEO best practices are followed
Assisting with technical SEO audits and learning how to identify and resolve common issues
Preparing simple SEO reports and performance insights
Keeping up to date with SEO trends and algorithm updates

Able to communicate clearly with both clients and team members
An interest in SEO and digital marketing
Experience using SEO tools such as:
Google Analytics
Google Search Console
SEMrush
Screaming Frog

Experience & skills

Around 1 year’s experience in marketing is desirable but not required
Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms is a bonus
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is helpful but not essential
Any SEO-related experience, coursework, or personal projects is a plus
Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Pay: £24,420.00-£26,362.10 per year
