Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled SEM Manager to lead and optimise our search engine marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques, with a focus on paid search campaigns, analytics, and website optimisation. Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEM campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads.
- Analyse campaign performance data using Google Analytics and optimise accordingly to improve click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and overall campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct keyword research and utilise SEO best practices to enhance organic search visibility alongside paid efforts.
- Manage website content updates via WordPress or other content management systems, ensuring content is optimised with relevant metadata for search engines.
- Use Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager to monitor site health, track user behaviour, and implement tracking tags for accurate data collection.
- Collaborate with the content team to create compelling ad copy, landing pages, and social media content that aligns with brand objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and stay updated on the latest SEM tools, techniques, and algorithm changes to maintain competitive advantage.
- Oversee metadata optimisation across web pages to improve search engine rankings.
- Manage social media campaigns in conjunction with paid search efforts to maximise reach and engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing SEM campaigns with a strong understanding of Google Ads platform.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and WordPress for website optimisation purposes.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other relevant analytics tools.
- Solid knowledge of SEO principles including keyword research, metadata optimisation, and content management systems.
- Experience in social media management as part of integrated digital marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
