We are now hiring an SEO Lead to take ownership of organic growth across the group.

This is a senior role, combining strategic ownership with hands on delivery across multiple brands.

You will be responsible for setting direction, but you will also be in the detail. Auditing sites, shaping content strategies, working directly inside platforms, and collaborating daily with copywriters and digital PR to execute properly.

The Role Specifics

Strategy and ownership

Define and drive SEO strategy across multiple brands within the group
Prioritise activity based on commercial impact and growth potential
Align SEO with wider business goals and product direction
Provide clear roadmaps and practical next steps

Hands on execution

Conduct technical audits and oversee implementation
Work directly with UX design and developers on structure, indexing, performance and site builds
Map keywords to commercial pages and refine on-site optimisation
Guide content production with clear search intent and structure
Review and improve internal linking and information architecture
Stay close to performance data and make direct changes where needed

Collaboration

Work closely with copywriters to ensure content performs commercially and organically
Collaborate with digital PR on authority building and link acquisition strategy
Support new brand launches with solid SEO foundations from day one
Ensure SEO thinking is embedded into marketing and development workflows

Performance and accountability

Own organic KPIs across traffic, rankings, leads and revenue
Report clearly to the founder and clients with direct insights and actions
Focus on meaningful commercial outcomes rather than vanity metrics
Adapt quickly when data shows something needs changing

You will be someone who:

Has at least 5 years’ SEO experience
Has operated at a senior level but is still fully comfortable executing hands on work
Understands technical SEO in depth and can confidently brief developers
Has strong commercial awareness and understands revenue driven SEO
Is confident working across multiple brands and sectors
Takes ownership and does not need micromanagement
Communicates clearly and directly
Enjoys building systems but is equally happy working in the weeds

You should be as comfortable inside Ahrefs, Search Console and a CMS as you are discussing strategy.
