The Role
We are looking for a skilled, commercially focused and hands-on Ecommerce, Web Development, SEO & Social Media Manager to take ownership of our online platforms and drive the next phase of growth.
This role includes managing and developing the V-TUF website, the new Shopify website, Amazon platform, SEO, social media, influencer activity and wider digital campaigns. The focus is on driving revenue, improving conversion, building brand presence, generating leads and ensuring those leads are directed effectively to fulfilment partners and sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Growth and Strategy
Take ownership of the ecommerce growth plan across V-TUF website, Shopify, Amazon and other digital sales channels
Drive online revenue, conversion rate, return on investment and lead generation
Manage pricing, promotions, product merchandising and online campaign activity
Identify and develop new ecommerce and digital sales opportunities
Ensure ecommerce activity supports the wider commercial plan and directs enquiries to the correct fulfilment routes
Shopify Website Management and Web Development
Lead the setup, migration, customisation, launch and ongoing optimisation of the new V-TUF Shopify website
Configure themes, navigation, collections, products, checkout, payments, apps and integrations
Improve user experience, website speed, mobile responsiveness, security, navigation, search and checkout performance
Maintain and update website content, product pages, landing pages, plugins, apps and technical settings
Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate hosting, domains, integrations and website support where required
Build and optimise landing pages to improve lead capture, conversion and sales performance
Use web development skills including HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with basic Shopify Liquid knowledge desirable
Amazon and Marketplace Management
Manage and grow the Amazon platform as a key ecommerce channel
Improve Amazon listings, rankings, product content, pricing, promotions and conversion performance
Align Amazon activity with internal stock, pricing, promotions and fulfilment systems
Monitor marketplace performance and identify opportunities for growth
SEO and Digital Performance
Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and ongoing SEO reviews
Optimise product pages, collections, metadata, URLs, site structure and product content
Improve organic search visibility and reduce reliance on external agencies where possible
Monitor SEO performance using analytics and reporting tools
Stay current with search engine algorithm updates, ecommerce SEO and digital best practice
Social Media, Influencer and Brand Growth
Plan, create, schedule and publish content across social media platforms
Develop strategies to increase brand awareness, reach, engagement, traffic and sales
Build and manage an influencer programme that supports brand growth, customer engagement and lead generation
Manage comments, messages and community interactions professionally and promptly
Coordinate organic and paid social media campaigns where required
Track performance metrics and refine content, influencer and social strategies based on results
Lead Generation and Conversion
Develop digital campaigns that generate inbound leads and sales enquiries
Direct leads to fulfilment channels including the V-TUF website, Shopify store, Amazon, sales team and fulfilment partners
Improve website journeys, calls to action and landing pages to convert visitors into enquiries and orders
Monitor lead quality, conversion performance and campaign effectiveness
Work with Sales, Marketing and fulfilment partners to ensure leads are followed through effectively
Data, Systems and Reporting
Maintain accurate product data, pricing, descriptions, imagery and content across all ecommerce platforms
Produce regular performance reports covering website traffic, ecommerce revenue, conversion rate, SEO, Amazon, social media, lead generation and campaign results
Use analytics to identify performance gaps, competitor activity and growth opportunities
Support CRM, ERP and other system integrations where required
Make clear recommendations to improve revenue, engagement, customer journey and commercial performance
Required Skills and Experience
Essential
Proven ecommerce experience with a strong commercial and results-focused approach
Proven experience setting up, managing and optimising Shopify websites
Experience managing Amazon or similar marketplace platforms
Good web development knowledge including HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Strong understanding of SEO tools, ecommerce SEO and digital performance best practice
Experience managing business social media accounts and content schedules
Familiarity with content creation, campaign planning and scheduling tools
Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of performance
Desirable
Shopify Liquid experience
Influencer, brand marketing or community growth experience
Knowledge of paid advertising platforms including Google Ads and Meta Ads
Copywriting, product content or product merchandising experience
Understanding of UX/UI, customer journey optimisation and conversion rate optimisation
B2B, trade or professional equipment sector experience
ERP or CRM system knowledge
Experience working with external agencies and reducing reliance on outsourced support where possible
