About this full-time role
This is not a traditional SEO role.
At Growthack, we operate a Beyond SEO® model, where technical SEO, content, brand, and discovery work together as a single system to drive commercial growth.
We’re looking for an Organic Growth Specialist to support the execution of this system across our client portfolio.
You will work alongside an Organic Growth Strategist, focusing on implementation, optimisation, and quality control to ensure that strategies are executed accurately and consistently.
This role is ideal for someone with agency experience who wants to move beyond siloed SEO work and develop into a well-rounded growth operator.

Progression Path
Organic Growth Specialist → Senior Organic Growth Specialist → Organic Growth Strategist
Key Responsibilities
This role operates within a system designed to minimise risk and maintain consistent delivery across all client work. Attention to detail and adherence to process are critical. Errors at this level can directly impact client performance, so all work must be approached with care, validation, and accountability.
1. Delivery
- Translate strategy into clear execution requirements for content, paid and outreach teams
- Support site migrations, ensuring all technical elements are correctly deployed
- Ensure implementation aligns with defined SEO and growth objectives
- Execute keyword mapping, site structure, and on-page optimisation
- Maintain high standards of accuracy across all deliverables
2. Quality Assurance (Critical)
- Identify potential risks or issues before they impact performance
- Follow and apply structured QA checklists for all technical changes
- All technical changes must follow defined QA processes before deployment
- No changes should be made without appropriate validation and documentation
- Maintain version control and backup processes for key changes (e.g. redirects, migrations)
3. Performance Analysis
- Monitor performance across SEO and organic channels
- Support reporting through accurate data collection and interpretation
- Identify opportunities for optimisation based on performance trends
4. Collaboration
- Work closely with the Organic Growth Strategist to execute client plans
- Collaborate with internal and external teams (content, paid media, development)
- Contribute to internal process improvements and documentation
What success looks like (90 days)
- Confidently executing technical SEO tasks within our systems
- Demonstrating strong attention to detail across all deliverables
- Contributing to QA processes and identifying potential risks early
- Supporting consistent performance across assigned client accounts
What you’ll be responsible for
- Delivering high-quality execution across multiple client accounts

What you won’t be responsible for (Important)
- Owning the overall client strategy
- Leading client relationships independently
- Making high-risk technical decisions without review

Ideal Candidate
Experience
- 2+ years experience in SEO (at least 1-year in an agency preferred)
- Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals
- Experience working across multiple client accounts
Core Skills
- Strong attention to detail (non-negotiable)
- Ability to follow structured processes and checklists
- Solid understanding of website architecture and SEO fundamentals
- Confidence working with data (Google Sheets, GSC, GA4)
- Clear written and verbal communication

- Comfortable working within structured systems
- Proactive in identifying issues and opportunities
- Coachable and open to feedback
- Takes ownership of their work
