The Role: End-to-End Search Ownership
As our Senior SEO Executive, you are fully responsible for the Search channel. This isn't just about traffic; it’s about revenue. You will align your SEO strategy with our commercial goals to ensure our designer collections (Pandora, Nomination, etc.) reach the right customers at the right time.
Responsibilities
1. Technical SEO: The Performance Engine
You will ensure our website provides a seamless experience for both search engines and users.
- Site Audits: Conduct regular technical health checks using tools like Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or Google Search Console.
- Core Web Vitals: Monitor and optimise for page speed, mobile usability, and visual stability.
- Architecture & Indexing: Manage sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags to ensure our large product catalogue is crawled efficiently.
- Schema Markup: Implement and manage structured data (Product, Review, Offer, and Local Business) to enhance our visibility in rich snippets.
- Dev Collaboration: Work closely with our web developers to brief and QA technical fixes.
2. On-Page SEO: The Conversion Driver
You will be the bridge between our products and the customer's intent.
- Keyword Strategy: Perform deep-dive research to identify high-intent commercial keywords and seasonal trends (e.g., "Mother's Day Charms").
- Content Optimisation: Audit and improve meta titles, descriptions, H1-H6 tags, and image alt-text across all categories and product pages.
- Commercial Copywriting: Write or brief SEO-optimised content that maintains our luxury brand voice while satisfying search intent.
- Internal Linking: Develop a strategic internal linking structure to pass "link equity" to our high-margin collections and new arrivals.
3. Off-Page SEO: The Brand Authority
You will grow the digital footprint and reputation of Grace & Co.
- Link Earning: Develop ethical outreach strategies to secure high-quality backlinks from reputable fashion, lifestyle, and local publications.
- Digital PR Support: Collaborate with the wider team to turn brand stories and store events into linkable assets.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor the backlink profiles of competitors to identify gaps and opportunities for growth.
- Local SEO: Manage our Google Business Profiles for our 10+ physical stores to drive "near me" search traffic and footfall.
KPIs & Accountability
- Revenue Growth: Direct growth in organic search revenue and conversion rates.
- Keyword Rankings: Improving visibility for "trophy" terms and long-tail niche products.
- Health Score: Maintaining a high technical health score and low error rate.
- Commercial Alignment: Ensuring SEO efforts support our current stock priorities and buying cycles.
Qualifications
- 2–4 Years Experience: From an SEO agency or an in-house brand team.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Soft Skills: Empathetic, helpful, and able to work independently while remaining a team player.
- Bonus: Previous experience in the jewellery or luxury fashion industry.
Location & Flexibility
Our office is based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
- Hybrid: We generally expect some physical days in the office to make teamwork and collaboration easier.
Interview Process
