Job Title: SEO Content Writer
About Us
ClickSlice is an award-winning SEO agency but more importantly, we’re a team focused on doing things properly not just ticking boxes.
We don’t produce content for the sake of it. Everything we create is tied to performance, whether that’s rankings, traffic or actual business impact for our clients. That means no generic strategies and no “just publish something” mindset.
We operate in a fast-paced environment with high expectations but also lots of autonomy. People here are trusted to own their work, improve quickly and contribute ideas that actually get implemented.
If you’re looking for a role where you can develop fast, be challenged and see the impact of your work, you’ll fit in.
If you prefer a slower pace or a purely creative writing environment, this probably isn’t the right place.
The Role
This is not a “write a blog here and there” role. You’ll be responsible for managing and delivering content at scale, working across multiple clients with defined monthly deliverables. You’ll be supported by our Head of Content (Emma) and wider SEO team, but you’ll own your output.
Responsibilities
- Writing high-quality, SEO-led blog content across multiple client accounts
- Managing content delivery for your assigned clients, ensuring deadlines and monthly targets are met
- Collaborating with SEO specialists who provide keyword research and strategy, using this to create well-structured, intent-led content
- Joining client calls (especially during the onboarding stages) to understand tone of voice, audience and positioning
- Contributing ideas for content structure, layouts and performance (tables, comparisons, CTAs, etc.)
- Adapting your writing style across different industries and brands
- Editing and refining content to maintain accuracy across high-volume output and ensure it meets search intent and client standards
The team member we’re looking for
- You have strong SEO content writing experience and understand how content supports search intent
- You’re organised and able to manage multiple clients and deadlines without things slipping
- You have strong attention to detail and naturally self-edit your work
- You’re comfortable working with briefs, frameworks and structured processes
- You’re proactive; you don’t just execute, you look for ways to improve content and how it performs
- You communicate clearly and flag blockers early, rather than waiting for clients or the team to follow up
- You’re realistic about high-volume content and can maintain quality without overcomplicating the process
How we work
We operate in a fast-paced agency environment with clear monthly deliverables.
We use AI tools to support content structuring and efficiency but all content requires strong human input. You’ll be expected to fact-check, refine and elevate outputs not rely on AI blindly.
This role involves managing high-volume content production across multiple clients. If you enjoy structure, systems, and consistency (and can maintain quality at scale) you’ll do well here.
Why join us
This role sits right at the core of what we do - content that drives real results.
This isn’t a static writing role. If you’re proactive and show initiative, you’ll have the opportunity to grow beyond execution into content strategy and campaign ownership.
That said, growth here is earned. We value people who take ownership, improve consistently and push beyond just “getting the work done.”
What it’s like to work with us
- 21 days holiday + your birthday off + bank holidays
- Fully remote; work from wherever you’re most productive
- Clear working hours: 9–5 UK time
- A collaborative team that communicates daily (work, ideas and yes… memes included)
- Regular team meetups
- A supportive environment where you’re not left guessing: you’ll have guidance but also autonomy
We care about output and communication, not micromanagement. As long as the work is delivered to a high standard, you’re reliable and you show up fully in team collaboration, you’ll do well here.
