- MICHAEL KORS -
We have an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Search Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Search Specialist to support the delivery and evolution of Paid Search and SEO across the Michael Kors EMEA business.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident operating at senior specialist level, comfortable managing agencies, and able to translate strategy into high‑quality execution across multiple markets. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and agency partners, contributing to ongoing improvements in search performance as the channel continues to evolve through automation and AI‑driven change.
This is a hands‑on role with growing strategic exposure, rather than a role responsible for owning or leading large‑scale transformation.
Who You Are:
You are a strong search practitioner with a solid foundation in paid search and SEO, who understands how these channels drive commercial performance in an eCommerce environment. You are confident working with agencies, comfortable analysing performance, and able to make informed recommendations backed by data.
You are curious about how AI, automation, and platform changes are reshaping Search, but you do not need to be the expert defining that future alone. Instead, you bring practical thinking, good judgement, and a willingness to learn and adapt alongside senior stakeholders and agency specialists.
What You'll do:
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping to define, create, implement, and deliver the paid search and SEO strategy to grow the Michael Kors online business across our 50+ EMEA markets.
Paid Search Strategy:
- Guide our agency daily to improve paid search and shopping campaign performance, with a strong focus on optimising budgets, bid strategies, product feed enhancements, ad copy, and account structure
- Build a global test & learn agenda for paid search with our agency
- Maintain up to date industry knowledge including the latest in privacy regulations and their impact in Digital Marketing, such as CAPI’s and consent mode
- Manage Total Search relationship between agency and any third-party vendors
- Review Market strategy for channel and best tactic mix to drive performance
SEO Strategy:
- Work with agency partners to deliver SEO initiatives aligned to agreed roadmaps and priorities.
- Support on‑page SEO activity, including category and product optimisation, content updates, and AI‑assisted content where appropriate.
- Focus on growing our blog space with trending content ideas
- Collaborate with web production and development teams to prioritise technical SEO improvements.
- Monitor key indicators such as keyword visibility, organic traffic, and Core Web Vitals, escalating issues and opportunities as needed.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Produce and support weekly and monthly reporting, clearly explaining performance, trends, and recommended actions.
- Analyse search performance data to identify opportunities for incremental improvement across paid and organic activity.
Cross-functional collaboration:
- Work closely with Brand, Design, Analytics, CRM & Retail teams across both the EU and North America offices to ensure activity is aligned where appropriate and to meet broader business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SEO into content planning and digital initiatives with Site Merch & Web Production teams.
- Bring your authentic self, experience, and opinion to deliver clear direction with our Digital Marketing Strategy, also supporting an inclusive and enjoyable workplace.
Ways of Working & Stakeholder Support:
- Act as a reliable day‑to‑day point of contact for agencies on Search‑related activity.
- Support invoicing, documentation, onboarding, and operational processes related to Search.
- Bring a thoughtful, constructive point of view to discussions, while taking clear direction on overall strategy.
You’ll Need to Have:
- 4-5+ years of hands-on SEM experience, ideally in retail or eCommerce
- Proven success managing large-scale paid search campaigns across multiple geographies
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Google Ads, SA360, Google Search Console, keyword tracking and research tools such as Demand Sphere/ SEM Rush/Ahrefs or similar
- Experience working with or managing external agencies
- Good understanding of enterprise level analytics tools such as Adobe or equivalent.
- Experience using Jira or equivalent platform
- Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills, able to present your ideas to senior management with clarity and confidence.
We’d Love to See:
- A team-player with good relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise responsibilities in line with business objectives.
- A level of technical understanding of how GenAi & LLM models work is desirable.
- Keen interest in new developments within the online industry, including MTA and MMM.

- A sense of humour and desire to work in a dynamic and diverse workplace.
